Enquiries and orders

Is this only possible online?

You can send an enquiry by phone +49 30 351 788-600, fax +49 30 351 788-100, email (teamcontag.de) or post (address). If you enquire by phone or email, you will immediately receive a quotation.

Data transmission

How can I send data?

Our customer's well proven process is to send data by email to datencontag.de. A data upload form is also available online.

Data format

What data format do your prefer?

We prefer to use ODB++ - and EXTENDED GERBER format. If you send us STANDARD GERBER data, then we will also need the D code table(s). For GERBER data, a separate file is needed for each layer. For EAGLE / TARGET data, we can do the conversion for you. Just send us the entire CAD file. For drilling and milling, we prefer to use EXCELLON, but of course all other known formats are also possible.

Express service

Do you offer a service like this?

The standard delivery time for the Asian production takes between 3 and 7 weeks. If you have different needs, we are happy to discuss with you individual solutions, for example stock keeping of products, that you regularly need. Small series can be produced in the German production of CONTAG AG also in Express-Service.

Contact Person

Is CONTAG always my contact person?

Yes, no matter which technology, if you have a request, order or question, we will certainly always remain your contact and will carry out all communication with our partners for you.

Delivery times

When does the first working day start?

The delivery time starts with the working day after receiving your order and when all of the documents necessary for the job have arrived, as well as when all technological questions have been clarified.

RoHS

Do all printed circuit boards conform to RoHS?

All of the basic materials used fundamentally conform with RoHS. Except the surface lead/tin HAL are all other finishes made by CONTAG conform with RoHS.

Service

Is it also possible to order at night?

Yes, CONTAG service is 24 hour - all round the clock. For customers, there is someone to talk to, day and night. Technical advice is thus available at all times and prices can always be requested for the manufacture of your printed circuit boards.

Quality

How do you ensure the quality of the PCBs?

We recommend to order prototypes prior to any serial production to proof the functionality of the layout and material. By keeping close contact with our certified partners, we ensure all information is passed on. Before every start of the production of a new serial PCB, technological questions (if any) regarding tolerances, processes, layout and materials will be discussed with you for suitable solutions. After the successful production, all PCBs will be tested visually, mechanically and electrically. The test results are documented in an outgoing report enclosed to each delivery. Once we receive the PCBs in Germany we will inspect random samples visually and arrange further examinations if needed.

Layouts

Do you also produce layouts?

Yes, we also produce layouts for printed circuit boards. Here, we need the circuit diagram and an exact specification from the customer, i.e. the basics for the production of the layout.
