How to find us

By car from the west, coming from the "Berliner Ring" motorway (1)
From the western Berliner Ring, the A10, take the exit for Spandau. You then drive along the B5 heading for Spandau / Berlin City. From the road sign announcing that you are about to enter Berlin, you drive straight on for another 3 km. 600m after a green pedestrian bridge (old border crossing point) turn left at the traffic lights at the large crossing into "Magistratsweg". At the next large set of lights (about 1.5 km) turn right into "Brunsbütteler Damm". After about 1.3 km you will see the "Thoben Backhaus" on the right hand side of the road, after the BAUHAUS market (left side). Turn right, just before, into "Päwesiner Weg". After about 100 m, on the right hand side you will see the CONTAG building. Drive into the visitor's car parking.

By car from the Berlin city motorway "Stadtautobahn" (2)
From the inner city motorway take the "Spandauer Damm" exit and drive out of the city, towards Spandau, keeping straight ahead for about 8 km until you get to CONTAG. After about 5 km of this, you will pass IKEA and after another 1.3 km the "Spandauer Arkaden". The street now changes its name to Brunsbütteler Damm. After about 1 km, a central reservation appears with trees. To the left you can see "Thoben Backhaus". Turn left into "Päwesiner Weg". After about 100 m, on the right hand side you will see the CONTAG building. Drive into the visitor's car parking.

By car, coming from Tegel airport (3)
From Tegel airport it is about a 20 to 30 minute drive (depending on the traffic). If you have a hire car then drive straight ahead to the motorway. At the 2nd exit (approx. 4 km - Spandauer Damm) drive out to the right. Continue as for (2).

By car, coming from Schönefeld airport (4)
From Schönefeld airport it is about a 45 to 60 minute drive (depending on the traffic) by taxi. If you take a hire car, then you first leave the airport and, at the next large crossing, you turn right towards the city centre (Stadtzentrum). Follow this road for about 5 km. After a sharp left curve, at the next junction, turn left towards the city motorway, Stadtautobahn A113/A100. Follow the street for about 3 km and then join the motorway (A113). You follow the motorway for about 15 minutes and then take the "Spandauer Damm" exit. You then drive up left, out of the city, towards "Spandau". By train and public transport

1. Some ICE and "Regional" trains stop in Spandau.
2. If you arrive at Hauptbahnhof, take the Airport-Express train (RE 7 or RB 14) or the S-Bahn train (S75, S9) to Berlin Spandau.
3. If you are coming from Tegel airport, then take bus "TXL" or 128 and get out at "Jakob-Kaiser-Platz". Take the underground train U7 towards Spandau, which is also where you get out, to the right.
4. If you are coming from Schönefeld airport, then take the Airport-Express train (RE 7 or RB 14) for the quickest journey to Spandau. These trains travel at intervals of 30 minutes. (journey time about 45 minutes)
5. If you are coming from Tempelhof airport, then take the underground train U6 towards "Alt-Tegel" and travel just 1 station to "Mehringdamm". There, change to line U7 heading for "Rathaus Spandau" and travel to the last stop. In Rathaus Spandau change to bus M32 heading for "Staaken, Dallgow-Döberitz". Get off of the bus at "Päwesiner Weg" and walk down the road called Päwesiner Weg (Thoben Backgeschäft) for about 100 m. On the right hand side, you will see the CONTAG building.
