CONTAG stands for speed, precision and innovation in the manufacture of circuit boards and has won awards several times for this. Participation in further calls for proposals does not just aim for continued confirmation of the successful company concept. The emphasis is really on the continuous improvement of processes, to raise customer satisfaction to as high a level as is possible.

2015 SME Grand Award

On 5 September 2015, the Berlin-based and family-owned business, CONTAG AG, received the “Grand Award for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” at a gala event in Dresden’s Hotel Maritim.
More than 5,000 exceptional companies ran in the annual, nationwide competition which is already in its 21st year. CONTAG AG was nominated by Vereinigung Wirtschaftshof Spandau e.V., the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Agentur für Arbeit Berlin Süd, Berliner Volksbank eG (Potsdam branch) and ZVEI, Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektroindustrie e. V., and chosen as the winner out of 365 contestants from Berlin/Brandenburg. The participating companies are judged by five criteria according to which the enterprise as a whole as well as its contribution to society are considered. This comprises the company’s overall development, the creation/protection of jobs and vocational training positions, modernization and innovation, regional commitment, and service and customer focus. Outstanding performance in all categories is required. CONTAG has met all five criteria with distinction.

Top employer in Berlin 2007

During a ceremonial event on 10th December in Berlin, CONTAG won the competition and the title of "TOP Employer in Berlin 2007". The company won this award for its commitment as an exemplary employee and family-oriented company with outstanding health management. More

1st place in quality competition

On 3rd July 2002, CONTAG as a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, received the Berlin-Brandenburg Quality Prize 2002 for "Excellent quality management", taking first place. "High quality was produced at CONTAG at a tremendous speed", according to the jury following the audit. More

1st place in environment competition

For this extraordinary achievement of consistently manufacturing circuit boards without producing waste water, on 31st March 1999, CONTAG was ceremonially awarded 1st place in the Berlin-Brandenburg environmental prize by Berlin's minister for the environment, Peter Strieder. More
